Spring Break Fun, Days 5, 6, & 7

We had to take my parents to the airport bright and early Saturday morning so we decided to pack on up and leave town too.  We had planned to stay around the hotel that morning, but it was still too cold to swim and check out was at noon anyway.  We decided to make a stop in St. Augustine for the day since we could get there by 9:30.  Our first stop was Fort Matanzas.  It was a neat fort that was connected to Fort Frederica in St. Simons Island that we visited last year.  We were part of the first group that went over on the ferry so the ranger let the kids raise the Spanish Flag over the fort.  So cool!

It was a beautiful day!

Next we drove to downtown St. Augustine and parked.  We had no idea where we were going or what we would find but we ended up having a great time.  We walked around a good bit and then found a great lunch spot.
After lunch we walked along the water.  This picture makes me laugh so hard every time I see it.  Bryce was trying so hard to not squint and have a good smile.  Anthony is slow with taking pictures and Bryce lost his smile to the sun!
A nice lady walking by offered to take one of all of us.  We turned away from the sun this time!

Once we got home and unloaded we let Bryce open his presents from us and CeCe.  His party is going to be this Saturday.

Sunday afternoon Bryce had a baseball practice.  CeCe and I worked on this new lego set she bought at legoland.  I was impressed with her lego skills, she did most of this on her own!

Cappy bought Bryce these awesome MS State sheets for his bed.
Monday was the HUGE St. Patrick's day parade downtown.  There was a 100% chance of rain that day and it wasn't super warm so this is how we watched the parade.  Nice and dry and warm!  We went to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman that afternoon with our neighbors.  GREAT movie!
