We celebrated Bryce's birthday with his friends yesterday with a basketball party at the local YMCA. His only request was playing basketball and strawberry cupcakes. Easy enough!!!
He decided on a Grizzlies theme. I couldn't do much with the cupcake decorations but they sure tasted good!
He's wearing a Zach Randolph shirt underneath the mesh jersey (we borrowed these mesh jerseys from his basketball coach and they were perfect!)
The boys broke up into two teams and played a 4 quarter game. They even had the scoreboard working for us, it made Bryce so happy to have the scoreboard on!
CeCe and her two friends ran around the other half of the gym and played with balloons the whole time. They had a blast! (She's wearing her referee dress from his 7th birthday party)
The yellow team was way behind so Anthony joined them and had a BLAST showing off and running up the score to make it closer. He's been waiting on a chance to dunk using these shorter goals all year! The red team still won 34-23, Bryce was happy about that!
It was so chaotic at cupcake time that I didn't get a picture of him blowing out his candle! I'm sad about that but happy that we got a family picture. Everyone had a great time at his party. There were 10 super sweaty boys and 3 giggly girls at 4:00 when the party was over!
