A day at Legoland was our next scheduled adventure! It started out cold that day but warmed up to perfect around lunchtime. We had been to Legoland 2 years ago and they both remember loving it. CeCe was tall enough this year to ride most everything there (except 3 roller coasters) so that was great. The daredevils started out on a coaster again (The Dragon), but after CeCe's reaction to Grover on Tuesday she and I decided to start on something different. This horse ride was pretty fun for her.
We played in the big tree house playground while we were still waiting on everyone else.
The boys rode the Dragon coaster again and CeCe and Cappy rode on this train that spins around and around. Too much spinning for me, but they loved it! This was one of CeCe's favorites of the day.
Next up for the daredevils was Coastersaurus. Bryce rode this 2 years ago and it was too intense for him then, but he loved it this year! CeCe and I rode the little safari ride while they did this.
Beetle Bounce was a big hit with both of them. It pulls you up and the bounces you up and down.
Lost Kingdom adventure was fun for everyone
CeCe went to Jr. Driving school and earned her drivers license! While we were doing this the boys rode Project X (roller coaster) and loved it. This ended up being Bryce's favorite ride at Legoland. I hate I don't have more pictures of Bryce but he kept going on the roller coasters and I'm not going on those with him!
Flying school roller coaster was next up. The line took FOREVER and they said it wasn't worth the wait.
The 4 Dukes doing the Rescue Academy ride. We were 4th out of 4. I think something was wrong with our police car!
After lunch we decided to ride the technicycle. The line said 15 minute wait but we waited OVER AN HOUR. OH MY GOODNESS, what a waste of an hour! Bryce gave up and he and Cappy rode on Project X again but CeCe really wanted to ride this ride so she and I stuck it out.
Finally on the ride!
He was happy he wasn't waiting in the crazy long line anymore!
Next up was kid power towers. It is a fun ride where you pull yourself up to the top of the tower (using lots of muscle, it's not easy!) and then you can let go of the rope and slide down. We all had fun on this one.
Next we watched the pirate ski show again which we loved last time. It was great again! After the show we had 1.5 hours left until closing time so we let the kids decide what they wanted to do before we left. CeCe decided she was brave enough to try the Dragon coaster. She LOVED it! We rode twice in a row.
We ended the day on the carousel and then had some delicious Granny's apple fries.
Overall it was a fun day. Legoland is very inefficient and their wait times are frustrating but the kids had a great time and that's what matters most!
