We've had a great weekend! The weather has been cold and rainy since Friday but the sun finally came out this afternoon. Yesterday we went to our church's Easter Egg hunt. I was told that if it was raining they would move it inside, they didn't! We didn't have jackets or rain boots so the kids quickly found some eggs and we left. It was cold out there!
By 5 it was just drizzling so we decided to stick with our original plan and go to a Sand Gnats game. It was chilly but since all the seats are covered we stayed dry. We left there around 7:45 and I'm glad we did, by the time we got home it was storming and they had to stop the game.
Since it was storming last night the Easter bunny had to hide the eggs inside this year!
This morning was cold but at least the rain had stopped!
Our church had a short kids service and CeCe had a speaking part this year. She was so proud of herself and did a GREAT job!
After church we went to the Brooks' house for lunch.
After lunch the sun came out!!! Eliza had some dye kits so the kids had a lot of fun dyeing eggs.
The kids are out of school again tomorrow and we are looking forward to a full day of fun in the sun!
