We had the best long weekend with my college roommate Whitney and her family! They flew in to Savannah from Jackson, MS on Wednesday and spent 4 nights here with us. I wish they could have stayed longer. None of us were ready for them to leave! They have an almost 3 year old son, Porter and 13 month old twin boys, Davis and Eli. Whitney and I haven't seen enough of each other since we graduated college, but now that we've introduced our families to each other's families I hope this is a tradition we continue for years and years!
Thursday we had perfect weather and headed downtown to Forsyth park. CeCe and Porter had fun running around and playing on the playground. The twins have both just started walking and loved toddling around on the sidewalks.
We tried to eat lunch downtown but couldn't find a place to park (so aggravating!!) so we ended up at Molly McGuires. CeCe and Porter made a friend while waiting on our food!
As you can imagine, CeCe was in LOVE with the twins. Two real live babies in her house? She didn't stop smiling the whole visit! She helped John and Whitney with bath time each night.
Friday we went back downtown and rode the ferry and ate Mexican (found a parking place this time!)
When Bryce got out of school Friday we headed to Tybee! All three of the Emrich boys loved the sand!

Anthony met us down there and we had dinner at Fannies on the Beach.
Saturday morning Bryce had a scrimmage game but after that we all headed to Oatland Island. The bugs were pretty bad but the kids enjoyed walking around looking at the animals.
That night we at the Pirates House downtown.
We can't wait to see them all again!
