Growing up

My baby is growing up. There are so many ways he is not a 'baby' anymore.
1. No more bippie. After only 3 days he isn't asking for it at all.
2. He is going to start preschool in Sept. 2 days a week.
3. He drinks 2% milk now instead of whole milk.
4. He is wearing a mix of 2T and 3T clothes. This is the same kid who just 6 mos. ago when we moved here was wearing 12mos. He is 50% for height and 50% for weight. Some of you may remember Bryce wasn't even on the growth charts for over a year.
5. Vocabulary!!! He is still talking up a storm and we love it. I love knowing what he is thinking (most of the time!)
6. He reads us bedtime stories instead of us reading to him.
7. He never, not even one time, cried because of his surgery. It has to bother him, but he just deals with it.
8. He has always hated wearing hats and letting me put sunscreen on. Now he has to deal with both and only complains occasionally.
9. Potty training is just around the corner. I'm getting geared up for it and dreading it at the same time.
Here are some pictures from our wonderful weekend! We spent most of the time digging up flower beds and planting flowers. It was great!

His new fashion staples, a hat and lots of sunscreen!

Playing the 'guitar' with Daddy's shovel
Bet the neighbors loved the plastic pool in the front yard!!!

Chillin, Florida style!
