I've been hearing all year about how competitive Field Day is at Dogwood so I was a little nervous it was going to be a bit over the top. It was so much fun!!! All of the games are so organized and the kids have been practicing for a few weeks so they knew what to expect. The kids got to pick which events they wanted to participate in. Each grade has their own time slot and all the classes wear their class shirts. 3rd grade had theirs Tuesday morning from 930-12 and the weather was perfect!

His class won the Spirit Award this year. They award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place classes and then the rest of the classes get either spirit, sportsmanship, etc. :)
It was a fun morning and we look forward to next Field Day!

They should have awarded Bryce first prize for most intense facial expressions. He was certainly feeling the competition! And he looks so much like you, Brooke. It's crazy.
