The forecast last week kept calling for another winter storm but it was hard to believe since it was March! Well, the weather men were right and starting Wednesday night into Thursday morning it iced first but then started snowing and by the time we woke up it was beautiful!! We think we got about 1/2 inch of ice but then at least 4 inches of snow on top of that.
You couldn't see the curb!
We walked over to the Hancock's house to sled down their driveway and play in the snow.
We lasted about 45 minutes that morning before our feet were freezing and we went inside. That afternoon once the sun came out CeCe, Mary and Audrey played in Ruby's backyard. They had snowball fights
And built (really Ruby and I built most of it!) a cute snowman!
School was out Thursday and Friday. Friday it warmed up enough that playing out in the snow was more fun. CeCe and her friends got out our sand toys and were digging and building 'snow castles'! Saturday morning CeCe and I were scheduled to help her Daisy troop sell Girl Scout cookies in front of Lowes at 7:45! It was a cold hour out there but the troop sold a lot of cookies!
We had a great time with this last snow, but we sure hope we don't see anymore until next winter!!
