Dogwood was supposed to have their spring carnival on Saturday but with the snow covering the ground they decided to postpone it. With the unexpected free weekend we headed to West Point to visit with Kiki and Papaw Duke. The weather was beautiful so went to Starkville for a baseball game on Saturday.
The Bulldogs won 4-2!! But the best part of the day was the warm sun beaming down on us!!
Sunday we had lunch in Columbus and then Kiki took CeCe and I to a dress shop that she's been shopping at for years for CeCe. She's been wanting to take her shopping and she got her wish, CeCe was in heaven with all those cute clothes!! We got lots of super cute clothes for Miss Bird!
On the drive home CeCe finished reading her first chapter book. We are so proud of how far her reading has come this year. And I'm excited to add another reader to the family! I love reading and am happy that my kids enjoy it too!
