Tuesday CeCe's preschool had their big end of the year picnic at the playground at Tybee. It is a super fun time where the whole school comes and they grill hotdogs and the kids all play together. After the playground a group of us headed over the the south beach of Tybee and stayed for 3.5 hours! We were out in the Tybee sun for 5 hours that day! The tidal pools were PERFECT for the kids to play in. Do you see the line of waves at the back of this picture? Everything in front of that is a huge tidal pool that only went up chest high on the kids. They all stayed much closer than that though. Those kids played in the water and sand the whole time and had the best time!
That night Bryce had another baseball game. They lost 13-1 but they were playing a travel/try out team. After the game most of the team went to Cancun Mexican restaurant to celebrate Cole's birthday. It was CRAZY in there with so many 8 and 9 year old boys but I'm so glad we went to help Cole celebrate.
Wednesday was Graduation day for birdie lou!
Walking in and excited to see Mama and Daddy!
They sang a few songs
Then they went to the back to put on their graduation caps. Each child was called to the front individually and Mrs. Kathleen (CeCe's teacher from last year and the director of the preschool) read 2 sentences about each child. She said "Catherine Carole Duke, CeCe wants to be a baby doctor when she grows up and her favorite thing to do at school is to play with her friends". She then shook hands with both of her teachers and received a bible story book. She was so cute up there!!
Anthony brought her flowers and she was thrilled!
With Mrs. Hill, her wonderful teacher!
Emma Grace, CeCe and Bennett
The 4 musketeers! Ansley, Emma Grace, Addi and CeCe. CeCe, EG and Addi are in the same class. Ansley is Addi's younger sister who plays great with the big girls!
Today (Thursday) was Bryce's awards ceremony. He received an award for High Honor Roll (all As all year) and one for Principal's award (all E's in conduct all year). Super proud of my Bryce Duke!! No pictures of his ceremony. It was raining and we had a decent walk into the school so I didn't take my camera.
