Friday afternoon Anthony got home from work at 1:45 and never went back!! Wow! I guess working until midnight or 1am all week tired him out! It was a very nice change to our normal afternoon routine. I was able to get the house clean for our weekend guests (Kiki and Papaw Duke) and make some yummy pumpkin cream cheese muffins while Anthony and the kids played outside. Getting all of my 'to dos' done Friday afternoon freed up our Saturday morning so we decided to go to Milton, FL to the Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch with our friends Brett, Kelly and Kate. It was so much fun! They had a large pumpkin patch, goats to feed and a hayride. It is actually a peanut farm and they greeted us with cups of boiled peanuts.
First we hit the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins.

CeCe kept getting caught in the vines so she stayed on the dirt path most of the time. Bryce picked out two great pumpkins. A nice short round one for CeCe and a taller one with green on it for him (Hulk pumpkin)

His teacher told them that some pumpkins were bumpy so he looked and looked for a bumpy pumpkin in the patch and never found one, but at the hay that was set up for pictures he found this one and loved it.

CeCe was mad that she couldn't hold the bumpy pumpkin. Who would have thought the ugliest pumpkin out there would be so cool?

After putting the pumpkins in the car we went on the hayride. It was very bumpy but he went slow and it was nice to see the peanut crops and go through the woods for a short time. The hayride was much longer than I thought it would be and the kids loved it!

When we got back Kiki and Papaw Duke were waiting on us! We had a nice lunch outside and the kids, Anthony and Papaw Duke settled down for afternoon naps while Kiki and I went shopping! When they woke up we decorated Bryce's pumpkin with this Mr. Potato Head skeleton set....super cute and easy! We can't decide if we are going to carve CeCe's pumpkin or just decorate it too.

We got all dressed up and went out to dinner at the Fish House. Yummy! We came home to watch a pretty tense Bulldog game, luckily they pulled it out in the end.

Today holds more playing with the Grandparents and Kiki and I are going to Foley for more shopping!
