Beach Trip

We spent the first half of the week in Santa Rosa Beach, FL in a resort community called Watercolors. It was awesome!!! We went with Anthony's roommate from college (Ryan), his wife (Jessica) and daughter (Lydia) and two other families that are their friends. We had a nice big house with lots of room for the kids to run around. 4 kids under the age of four. It was great! We only got in our cars once after we got there. Once to drive to the grocery store and once to drive to Destin to the outlet mall. Every other place we needed to go we took bikes. Bryce rode in a trailer that attaches to the back of a bike. We rode the bikes to the beach, restaurants and even the grocery store after that first big shopping trip. There were different pools to go to and great walking trails. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! Here are some pictures from the week.

Bryce's lip looks great. The split in the bottom lip has healed up perfectly!!!! He and I were going to stay an extra day at the beach, but Bryce's excema was out of control (probably from that super convienent spray sunscreen I used every day, no more of that!) and he had an infected bug bite. On our way home yesterday we stopped at his pediatrician's office and she put him on an oral antibiotic for the infected bite, some bactroban ointment for the bite and some steroid ointment for the excema. All of it already looks a lot better.

We want to wish a very special friend a wonderful 2nd birthday today.
