He will start with debulking the bottom lip from the outside, not the inside. The majority of the hemangioma is on the outside of the lip so this only makes sense. He will have a small scar, but what is one more??? He will have disolvable stitches. He will have to be intubated for the surgery and with his smaller than normal airway there is always the chance of swelling so we will probably spend one night in the hospital. If this surgery doesn't debulk the lip enough he will do another surgery this time coming from the inside of his lip. After this we will start the laser treatments for the redness around his lip. This whole process will likely take at least two years from start to finish. We will have to be extra careful to keep sunscreen on him, but of course we need to do that anyway. I will update when I know when our appt. is. Please pray that we are making the right decision to do this now and with Dr. Woolley. I am attaching a close up of Bryce's lip and some other cute pictures from the last 2 weeks.

What a cool little dude with those sunglasses! It looks like he knows it too!:) That picture just made me laugh, soooo cute!
We will keep Bryce and your family in our prayers, but don't second guess your decisions. You guys have had to make some really tough decisions in the past, and they have all turned out to be the right ones for Bryce. Keep us updated. Also, is your ENT doing the surgery or are you getting a new doctor for it?
