Ear Infection

Bryce has another ear infection. This one was caused by his allergies so we are putting him back on Zytrec daily. She gave us some amoxicillan for the infection. The scary part of today was the doctor mentioning the words stridor and steroids. My heart was racing and tears popped in my eyes before I knew it! She calmed me down quickly though by saying some ear infections, if they are bad enough (and his is a BAD one this time) can cause inflammation in the airway. She told me not to get the steroid filled yet, only do it if his stridor gets worse or if coughing keeps him up at night. Hopefully the antibiotic will kick this soon and we can stay off the stupid steroids. I think forever and ever when I hear that word I will cringe.
