Check It Out!

Wow! Quinn and family are famous! They were in their hometown newspaper today. Check it out online at http://www.saultstar.com/webapp/sitepages/content.asp?contentID=419975&catname=Local+News

Bryce is not coughing as much. He still has a runny nose but isn't pulling on his ear anymore. I'm still not feeling great, mainly tired. Anthony has avoided all of this so he has been a big help!

I knew it

I took Bryce to the pediatrician yesterday. He does have another ear infection. I caught it early again, so hopefully it won't bother him too bad. He is on Augmentin this time. He doesn't seem to like the taste quite as much as the pink medicine from last time! He is coughing a lot more with this cold, but the Dr. said his lungs are clear. And that his airway sounds good! I'm feeling a little better today, but am starting to cough some too. We missed the playgroup at the zoo yesterday. The weather is supposed to be good the rest of the week and weekend so maybe we can have some outside time later on this week.

New Trick

Bryce is standing up on his own!! He is very proud of his new trick!

He has taken a couple of steps, but isn't too sure about that yet. We have been busy since the last post.

On Valentines Day he had his 5th RSV shot. He weighed 17lbs. 13 oz! We were there for over 2 hrs. again, and I think he and I both picked up something from there. We both have had a cold since Friday. It seems to be getting worse instead of better for us both. I hope his doesn't turn into another ear infection. Anthony got Bryce the cutest drum for Valentines Day, he loves banging on it!

Friday my parents came in town! It is always great to see them. Saturday we celebrated my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. We had lunch with my sister and her husband, my parents, my aunt and uncle and of course the happy couple of 60 years. It was a lot of fun. Saturday night my parents stayed with Bryce and Blakeley, Hunter, Anthony and I went to the lakehouse for the night. We had a great time. Sunday they brought Bryce to the lake and we had lunch and played in the mud. Cappy and Papaw Ruff left this morning :( It will be 3 whole weeks before we see them again.
Hopefully we will be feeling better tomorrow, the playgroup is meeting at the Zoo!

Pictures

I wanted to post these the other day, but couldn't get it to work. Thanks Anthony for fixing the computer for me!

Great Trip

We had a great trip to San Francisco. There was snow on the ground in Memphis when we woke up Friday morning to go to the airport, but it didn't affect our flight. We had a great time visiting the sites of SF. Fisherman's wharf, Chinatown, Union Square, riding the cable car. We had a great dinner Friday night at Harris steakhouse (thanks for the recommendation Mo) and afterward, the driver from our hotel picked us up and took us on an hour tour of the city. It was wonderful to hear about the architecture and who lives where! Those houses are amazing. Bob and Wendy's wedding was beautiful! It was great to see them. They are enjoying their honeymoon in the Caribbean right now. Lucky dogs! We missed Bryce so much on our trip. Every stroller that passed I would think of him and wish he was with us. He had a great time with Cappy and Papaw Ruff though. Auntie Blake and Uncle Sauce (Hunter) came for the weekend too, so he had a lot of people to entertain!

We went to our first playgroup since Nov. yesterday. It was great to see all of the kids again. Bryce had a blast. No big plans for this weekend. Rest and relaxation for us!

I can finally post pictures again, so enjoy!

Please keep Quinn in your prayers. They have confirmed that he does have a hemangioma on his brain. No biopsy will be needed though, thank goodness. They will just keep an eye on it and hope it doesn't grow.

Sorry! I've been slacking on the blog this week! Bryce is feeling better, no more cough and his nose is much better too. The ear infection never seemed to bother him, thank goodness. Maybe we just caught it before it really got started. Monday afternoon he vomited 3 times. I figured he picked up a bug somewhere (where, I don't know, we don't get around too many people) but after that, he was fine. I have no idea what caused it. He never had a fever or anything. I'm just glad it didn't last long!

Anthony and I are going on our first trip without Bryce this weekend. He is going to stay at my parent's house in Olive Branch while we fly to San Francisco for our good friend Bob and his fiance Wendy's wedding. I'm very excited, I've never been to San Francisco but I'm sad to leave Bryce. It will only be for 3 nights though. Here are some pictures from the last week or so. Enjoy and I'll update when we get back. OK never mind about the pictures, it still won't let me put a picture on here. I'll try to get Anthony to look at it tonight.

Dr. visit today

We were told by the ENT group to go to the pediatrician so she could listen to Bryce's breathing. We went this afternoon and she said that his airway sounds GREAT!!!! She also said that by tomorrow his left ear will probably be infected, so she put him on Amoxicillan for 10 days. Hopefully we are catching that soon enough that it won't bother him too bad. He is still sleeping and eating well and playing like always!

They didn't end up flying Quinn to the hospital. So now the family is stuck at home waiting and wondering. I hate this for them. Jenn, his mom, is always so upbeat and positive and right now she seems so down. They have so many questions that need answering. Thank you all for the prayers for their family.
