Pre Halloween Fun

Hey everyone it's CeCe! Mama told me that I could do the blog update today since it is mostly all about me and the fun things I've been doing! We are getting excited about Halloween around here, but the last two days have been filled with fun too!

Yesterday after we left Bryce at school we drove to the Naval Aviation Museum to see some of my friends from our playgroup. Mama changed my clothes in the trunk, can you believe that? And it was chilly yesterday morning! It was worth it though once I saw what I got to wear.....my TuTu!! I LOVE my tutu. It is so pretty and fluffy. This is not my real Halloween costume, just one Mama let me wear to the museum.

I ran around and had so much fun with my friends that I was exhausted! I slept so hard Mama had to wake me up so we could go on our next adventure.
Unfortunately Mama was too lazy to carry her big camera around so we don't have pictures of our night, but we had so much fun downtown trick or treating! I wore my real costume (sorry, you'll have to wait until tomorrow night to see me in it!) and got to run around with Bryce and my friend Kate. I did fall off the curb one time and got a nice goose egg on my forehead but a little riding time in the wagon and my me (paci) and I was OK again. We all went to eat supper at Dharma Blue which is my Mama's favorite restaurant. I fell again at supper trying to climb on my highchair, but again I was OK. I think those parents of mine might need to pay a little more attention to me, I'm a little more of a risk taker than my brother was. That is what I hear anyway.

Today Mama took me to the mall. I thought we were going to go shopping, but she took me to this awesome place called Gymboree and a lot of my friends were there. It was Tyler's first birthday party! Here is a picture of me with TyTy. We were fighting over that purple balloon, even though there were many other balloons in the room.
These steps were my favorite. I loved running away from the group and what we were supposed to be doing to sneak up these steps. It is funny to watch my Mama run after me when I do things like that!
Here I was waiting on my friend Kate to come up the stairs and join me
After playing for a long time we got to have yummy pasta, fruit and of course cupcakes! I had a super fun day!
Oh, but this afternoon I was outside with my family. Bryce and Dada were playing football and Mama was sweeping the driveway. For some reason Mama's bike was not in the place it usually is so I had to check out why. I heard my Mama say not to touch it but of course I had to test the limits and what do you know, she was right! That huge bike fell over on top of me. I screamed and screamed but was more scared than hurt. My me, Mama and some books made it all better and soon I was ready to get on that bike and we all went for a ride around the neighborhood before supper. Now I'm off to night night.....I'll be cheering on those Bulldawgs in my sleep!
I almost forgot to tell you what my Dada and Bryce did while we were at the party.....they went to the USS Alabama in Mobile. They tell me it is a huge ship with lots of cool guns and steps. They stayed for 3 hours! Bryce had a super fun time and I could tell my Dada did too. He said I can go when I turn 3 years old and climb up all the steps by myself. Sorry about these pictures, they are from my Dada's phone.

Stay tuned for pictures of me and Bryce trick or treating tomorrow night!

Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch

Friday afternoon Anthony got home from work at 1:45 and never went back!! Wow! I guess working until midnight or 1am all week tired him out! It was a very nice change to our normal afternoon routine. I was able to get the house clean for our weekend guests (Kiki and Papaw Duke) and make some yummy pumpkin cream cheese muffins while Anthony and the kids played outside. Getting all of my 'to dos' done Friday afternoon freed up our Saturday morning so we decided to go to Milton, FL to the Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch with our friends Brett, Kelly and Kate. It was so much fun! They had a large pumpkin patch, goats to feed and a hayride. It is actually a peanut farm and they greeted us with cups of boiled peanuts.

First we hit the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins.

CeCe kept getting caught in the vines so she stayed on the dirt path most of the time. Bryce picked out two great pumpkins. A nice short round one for CeCe and a taller one with green on it for him (Hulk pumpkin)
His teacher told them that some pumpkins were bumpy so he looked and looked for a bumpy pumpkin in the patch and never found one, but at the hay that was set up for pictures he found this one and loved it. CeCe was mad that she couldn't hold the bumpy pumpkin. Who would have thought the ugliest pumpkin out there would be so cool?
After putting the pumpkins in the car we went on the hayride. It was very bumpy but he went slow and it was nice to see the peanut crops and go through the woods for a short time. The hayride was much longer than I thought it would be and the kids loved it!

When we got back Kiki and Papaw Duke were waiting on us! We had a nice lunch outside and the kids, Anthony and Papaw Duke settled down for afternoon naps while Kiki and I went shopping! When they woke up we decorated Bryce's pumpkin with this Mr. Potato Head skeleton set....super cute and easy! We can't decide if we are going to carve CeCe's pumpkin or just decorate it too.
We got all dressed up and went out to dinner at the Fish House. Yummy! We came home to watch a pretty tense Bulldog game, luckily they pulled it out in the end.
Today holds more playing with the Grandparents and Kiki and I are going to Foley for more shopping!

Fun in Gainesville

Even though our trip started out like this......

We ended up having a GREAT time on our trip to Gainesville
The kids were on their best behavior all weekend
We spent a fun day on the UF campus before the game (it was a late game-7pm start)
We had a blast at the game but left at halftime with two very sleepy kids We all got into the bulldog spirit (woof woof)
And they passed out on the way back to the hotel after the game.

We are so excited the trip went so smoothly and are already planning our next trip with the kids! We are so proud of the bulldogs for playing so well and getting the big W over Florida!!! We dressed in our maroon and white yesterday for school and CeCe's checkup at the Dr. Bryce's teacher and the kids pediatrician are both UF grads so it was fun rubbing it in a little! GO STATE!!!

Second Beach Weekend

We drove over to the beach condo after we picked Bryce up from school on Friday. Anthony met us there after dinner (he is crazy busy at work these days). Here are the kids playing on the bed while we all got ready to go to dinner.

Cappy and Papaw Ruff with all 4 grandkids!
CeCe was busy eating
While the boys were busy playing (they all pigged out that night--3 grilled cheese sandwiches and fries, all gone!)
We went to brunch on Sunday to celebrate Cappy's birthday (which is really today--HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAPPY! We love you!!!)
Bryce wishing her a Happy Birthday
Monday morning Bryce and Jude were playing in the bedroom and things were way to quiet in there. I peeked in to see Bryce wearing my bathing suit over his clothes and Jude holding these two things wanting me to put them on him. It was hilarious. He wore this around the condo even though he was tripping over the cover up the whole time!
Blakeley and Hunter left on Monday afternoon and the kids and I stayed an extra night and left yesterday. Bryce and CeCe both cried and cried when we left them. CeCe kept saying their names over and over. It was heart breaking!
I have about 200 beach pictures to go through so I'll post some of those in a separate post hopefully tomorrow. There are some good ones! My friend Kelly came over and took the family pictures and they turned out great!
Thank you Papaw Ruff and Cappy for letting all of us stay with you for so much of your beach vacation. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait until next year!

First Beach Weekend

As I mentioned in my last post, my parents are staying in Gulf Shores for the first 2 weeks of October. We spent a long weekend over there and had a great time! The weather was much cooler than it has been but that didn't keep Bryce and CeCe from the pool or beach!

CeCe at the pool
Bryce at the beach
CeCe testing out the baby pool, it was freezing but she loved it!
Bryce and Anthony building a sandcastle
I think she looks so BIG in this picture!
At dinner Saturday night
Pajama time! Bryce loves these zipper footie pajamas and was so excited it was finally cool enough to wear them. Note the Spiderman mask....he earned this by doing his workbooks everyday for the month of September. Thanks Aunt Tracy, it worked great!!! CeCe was thrilled to be out playing after bath, usually she goes straight to bed after her bath, but that night we let her play and she thought she was big stuff!
CeCe's best friend.....her belly button! She is constantly checking on it.
Papaw Ruff, CeCe and Cappy
I have almost this exact same picture from when Bryce was this exact age (off by 2 days)
CeCe loves her Daddy!
My boys in the hot tub on a cold windy day!

We are headed back over there for another long weekend Friday. My sister and her family are coming too. Can't wait to have everyone together and get my hands on baby Jasper!
