Snow!!

These past 2 weeks we've had some crazy winter weather!  In the last two weeks the kids have had one holiday (already scheduled) and 4 ice days!  My parents were here with them for the first round of days off (Anthony and I were on vacation, more about that in the next post!) and deserve medals for being stuck in the house with them for so long!!  Yesterday there was talk of another winter storm coming through but this time all they mentioned was snow.  Wait, what?  You mean actual snow, not ice?  Yes, thank you!!  It was snowing when the kids got off the bus at 4 yesterday but nothing was sticking to the ground yet.  Around 6 it dropped below freezing and the snow started sticking.  Of course it was getting dark then so we couldn't see how beautiful it was until we woke up this morning.  Thankfully the roads are fine so school is still in session here today.  We went out to play in the snow for a few minutes before heading to school.  Funny, CeCe is dressed up for 'Spring' pictures in the snow!  Bryce had his picture day yesterday.  

They've only played in real snow (not ice) once before when we were visiting my parents at Christmas a few years ago.  These beach bums were pretty excited!
