Fun Times!

After our sad start to Spring Break (stomach bug--Bryce ended up getting it also) we were so happy to get to see our friends The Sponsellers when they visited Hilton Head, SC at the end of the week.  We were great friends with them when we both lived in AL.  Bryce and Evan were each others first best friends! We have both added sweet girls to our families since we had seen each other.  Everyone got along great and we had a great two days visiting with them.  Thursday we went over to Hilton Head to see them and played at the children's museum and their resort.

Bryce and Evan didn't really remember each other at first, but immediately started playing together and had a lot to talk about!

The pool was nice and heated.  I was out in jeans and a jacket but the kids were warm and having a blast swimming!

Friday they came over to Savannah and we had fun showing them downtown.

It was GREAT seeing them and I hope it isn't 5 years until we see them again!

This Tuesday CeCe started swimming lessons at the aquatic center where Bryce swims on the swim team.  She's been sitting watching kids swim here since September so when I told her she was going to swim she immediately said "I want goggles and a swim hat" so we made that happen.  Isn't she the cutest swimmer you've ever seen?   I'm so proud of her.  She's gone under water (which is huge for her) and is trying everything the teacher is asking her to, even if she is a little scared to do it.  We might have 2 swimmers by the end of the summer!!

Friday was Dads for Donuts at CeCe's school.  She's been so excited to have her Daddy take her to school and get to come inside with her and see her classroom and friends.  They both loved it!!!

Thursday evening our friend Robin and her two kids James and Sam got here from Atlanta for a fun visit.  Her husband Steve decided to ride his new motorcycle down on Friday.  Bryce had to sit on it and try the helmet on!
We've had a great visit with the Sowders.  CeCe and Sam get along GREAT and are so much alike.  They are both super sweet, love babies and coloring and just have a great time together.  James has had a blast playing with all of Bryce's toys and the two boys have had some silly fun together too!

This morning we all went to Bryce's first baseball game (post coming soon!).  Bryce thought it was so special to have 7 people there cheering for him!  After the game we went to the playground at the Y and played for a while before heading to lunch and a fun filled afternoon at Forsyth.
