Random thoughts in no particular order....
1. Bryce isn't coughing!!! Yay! It is so nice to not hear that terrible coughing all the time, as bad as it was to hear, I know it was so much worse for him. His spirits are up too which is wonderful. School is still going great for him. We are in the process of planning his 4th birthday party. Any guesses as to what the theme will be? Yep, HULK! It has been fun planning with him. He gets so excited over the smallest details.
2. CeCe is 7 months old as of yesterday! Wow!! She is still so much fun, smiling and talking and laughing all the time. She is very content to sit with toys around her and play for long periods of time....even longer if her brother is nearby! She went through a phase where she didn't want to be fed pureed foods, she wanted to feed it to herself! Super messy!! Luckily she is over that and is letting me feed her again, whew! She still loves avacados and now loves pieces of banana. Bryce loves this too as they can 'share' a banana in the morning. She is getting really good at putting the puffs in her mouth and enjoys them as a treat after meals. We traded in her baby carseat and bought Bryce another big carseat so CeCe is in his old Marathon and loves it. I think the convertible seats have to be much more comfortable. Oh and the best of all.....she is napping!! 2 naps for about 1-2 hrs. each!! And the afternoon nap is at the same time as Bryce's. SUPER DUPER YAYAY!!!
3. I'm still missing my BFF Melanie who moved to England right after Christmas. I've been keeping really busy and try not to think about it too much! Bryce still asks when Liam is coming back and when are we going to take a trip to England. He has no idea how far away it really is! He thought for sure Liam would fly home for his birthday party!
4. Anthony and I are blessed with amazing parents who support us so much. 3 weeks ago CeCe was sick and Bryce got really sick and I called my mom in tears and she drove down here (7hrs) the next day. It was awesome. This past Sunday Bryce had a stomach bug and Anthony called his mom to put her 'on call' in case we needed her. She packed her bags that night and was ready to leave at 5am Monday morning. Luckily Bryce was feeling much better and I knew I could handle everything that day on my own so Kiki didn't need to come down here, but she was ready to come! Isn't that so awesome that we have such wonderful parents? I don't know how we could do this without them.
5. My sister is pregnant!! I don't think I've mentioned that on here yet. Her due date is Aug. 1st so this baby and CeCe will be a year apart. Such fun! She isn't finding out the gender this time (remember what happened last time? Winnie for a long time to find out it was really Jude 2 weeks before the due date!).
6. I went to my first LLL (Le Leche League) meeting today. A friend of mine is the president so I thought I'd give it a chance. I really really enjoyed it! I wish I had been going since CeCe was born. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much when I was nursing Bryce. I've changed a lot since then and seem to fit the LLL mold much more now!! Who would have thought that I'd be using cloth diapers, wearing my baby, and making my own baby food, not me!! But I enjoy them and wish I had known more about them when Bryce was a baby. The meeting was at the local natural food store so I renewed my membership and am excited to buy more local/organic produce from there.
OK enough random thoughts....here are some pictures from this past week.
CeCe in her "feed myself phase". Told you it wasn't pretty!
And they love each other so much!
