Sorry for the long delay!

We have been super busy having a great summer! I'll post some pictures from the last couple of weeks. First the Bryce news: We went for his 15 month checkup yesterday. He is finally back on the growth charts!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this for a long time! He is 20% for weight and 50% for height!!!! The Dr. said to give him more time for the speech issues. He still doesn't have any words (will make the mama and dada sounds, but not often). She said that after all he has been through, it isn't a surprise that his speech would be delayed a little. He knows so much, loves to read and can follow directions very well, so I'm willing to wait another couple of months to start any speech therapy if we need too. He is starting to eat more 'people' food. New on his approved list is blueberries! He loves them. He will also eat chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A. I'm working on PB&Js and cheese.

Yesterday we had quite a scare. We were at our weekly playgroup at a friends house and Bryce and I were bending down looking at a scooter that belonged to my friends older daughter. Bryce toppled forward and sliced his forhead on the scooter. It bled and bled and bled and bled some more. I was so scared but luckily two of the moms were able to take control and help me out! We went to our pediatrician's trauma room and they were able to glue it back together. He would have needed stitches if it had been almost anywhere else. It is smack dab in the middle of his forehead. About a 1 inch long vertical cut. Since it was a clean cut and was on a flat part of his skin, they could use this glue. We have to keep it dry and covered with a bandaid for 5-7 days. Poor baby had to go through all that in the morning and then go back to the pediatrician's office for the check up and 3 shots that afternoon! He is doing fine though. When we take the bandaid off tonight to check the incision I'll try to get some pictures of it. I took pictures of our bloody clothes too. I couldn't help it. It was so much blood I wanted to be able to show Bryce how much he scared me!!!

Here are the pictures from the last couple of weeks:
