Gymnastics

I finally took my camera to CeCe's gymnastics class yesterday.  We've been going since late January and she still loves it.  The program is wonderful and she has improved a lot since we started.  (by improving she is trying more things and getting stronger, I'm by no means looking for her to be a star gymnast, this is purely for fun!)

If you know CeCe you aren't surprised at all that she takes babies to class with her.  This week YaYa was the lucky baby to go.  Here is CeCe showing YaYa how to do a forward roll.

The rings are still her #1 favorite thing.  She loved them in her old class in Pensacola and she still gets so excited about them here.

First Tball game

First, earlier this week it was pretty cool and windy out so CeCe had our usual lunch picnic inside instead of outside.  She wanted all of her babies to join us so while I was getting our food ready she set up all of her babies with their bottles at the little table.  Such a mommy!!  (she is in pjs because she is obsessed with 'footie jammas' and her bow just happened to match perfectly from what she had been wearing that morning, I do not put bows in her hair to match her pjs!!)

On to Tball!  Bryce had his first game last night.  Doesn't he look handsome?

The main coach couldn't be there so some of the dads filled in.  Anthony looked good out there coaching!  Bryce was excited to have him out there.  

I was so proud of Bryce, he played a great game and had a great time. 

The rules are VERY simple for this age.  It is nice to not worry about the competitiveness starting so young.  They don't keep score and the kids are just out there to learn basic concepts and to have fun. 

Part of our cheering section....yes, that is Cappy that CeCe is laying on!!  Yay!  She flew in on Wednesday and got to see the first game! 



Easter

We had a great Easter and Spring Break at my parents house.  The weather was awesome the whole week and we stayed outside most of the time.  Easter morning Bryce couldn't wait to see if the bunny came to Olive Branch, of course he did!

The Easter Bunny left lots of coins this year in the eggs (along with a little candy too!).  That bunny is so smart because Bryce is learning about coins and money at school so he and Cappy had a good time counting and adding up his money. 

Ready for church.  No pictures of Papaw Ruff, he was sick with a nasty cold most of the week so he skipped church.  We went to our old pastor's church again this year, it is always so great to see him and his wife.

These two played together for hours at the lakehouse Saturday morning.  Cappy and I pruned and weeded the flower beds while my dad and Anthony took the lawn mower to the shop.  At one point they had set up this tea set like they were going on a picnic and it was too sweet not to capture the moment!  They are usually sweet to each other but that day there was no picking on each other, no bickering, no jealousy.  It was amazing!

HOURS have been spent on the trampoline this week.  At least 2 hours every day we've been here!

 Today while we were jumping we watched this....the shed my parents built behind the house is finally getting the septic system installed!

 The Easter Bunny brought Bryce and CeCe some seeds and Papaw Ruff helped us plant them today



Dinosaurs!!

The Memphis Zoo has a great dinosaur exhibit right now.  Bryce was on cloud 9!!  He knows so much about dinosaurs he could tell which dinosaur it was before we even read the signs.  It was awesome to see him so excited about it all.

Kindergarten Egg Hunt

CeCe and I went to Bryce's school this afternoon for his egg hunt and Easter party.  It was so fun!!  We got there in time to help hide the eggs and then watch as the kids ran around like crazy to collect them.

Water fun

First, this is Bryce and his friend Nick.  Nick just moved in around the corner and has a younger sister that is 3.5.  Perfect!!  They are great kids and we look forward to spending more time with them.  We just found out yesterday that Bryce and Nick are on the same Tball team (Nick's Dad is the coach).  Practice starts tomorrow. 

I can't believe it is hot enough already to be out in swimsuits playing in the water, but it is!   CeCe had fun washing her babies.

These babies were sad that they couldn't get wet so CeCe brought them and their chairs out to watch the fun.
