4 month stats

CeCe had her 4 month check up today. She weighs in at 13lbs. 6oz. (50th%) and is 25 inches (75%) long. She did great at the appointment! She isn't rolling over yet, but Dr. Page and I figured out this is my fault. She hates being on her tummy so I don't push the issue enough. I've promised to start doing it more, hopefully I can remember (I know, all of you out there with one kid are thinking I'm terrible, but all of you with two or more know exactly what I'm talking about!!). We are going to start feeding her rice cereal soon, maybe tonight if she feels up to it. She is now taking bottles with no issue, WHEW! She talks our heads off. Seriously, she is 'talking' all the time!! It is so fun to hear her try out all of her new sounds. Bryce is still in love with her and he definitely gets the most smiles out of her. I'm going to get some of their exchanges on film to show them years from now when they think they can't stand each other!

West Point, Ollie Branch and Halloween

We all went to West Point last weekend to visit Anthony's parents. It was CeCe's first visit to West Point and I think she had as much fun as we did. We went to Starkville Saturday for the pre-game festivities but didn't have tickets to the game (Bryce was so dissapointed but we have promised that we will take him to the Ole Miss game in a few weeks)

Bryce loved everything about game day, especially the band!

Snuggles before bed
Sunday afternoon the kids and I left Kiki and Papaw Duke's house and drove to Olive Branch (Bryce calls it Ollie Branch) to spend the week with my parents. It was CeCe's first trip to their house also. We had 3 rainy days, but made the best of the sunny days. Monday we hit the zoo....Memphis has a great zoo!

Friday CeCe wasn't feeling well at all. When she woke up she seemed normal but by 9am she was screaming and had fever. We gave her tylenol and she slept for about 3 hours. She woke up and ate and felt better. She still had fever but would smile occasionally so we knew she was OK. Her fever broke in the middle of the night and she has been fine ever since. I have no idea what she had, but I'm glad it was so short lived!
Saturday morning we packed up and headed back to Pensacola. We brought Cappy back with us which made the 7.5 hr. trip much easier on all of us. CeCe did awesome on the drive, only cried for about 2 minutes and we were only 20 mins from home when that happened. Bryce always does awesome in the car. And he only watched one DVD! He 'read' the big toy flyer from Toys R Us for HOURS in the car. It was so cute to look back there and he looked like he was reading the newspaper. We got home just in time to dump our stuff and get dressed up for Trick or Treating!

Gulf Shores

My parents get a condo in Gulf Shores for 2 weeks every October and they are gracious enough to let all of us come and go as we please. We were there almost the whole time this year!! The weather was perfect and we all had a blast.

Flying the kite on the beach. It took us a while to get it flying but once we did Bryce had fun with it.
Matching Boo PJs. Bryce thought this was so cool!

CeCe's Christening

CeCe was Christened today and it was wonderful!! Our amazing family and 2 close friends were there to celebrate with us.

With Kiki and Papaw Duke....Bryce was not into the picture taking after sitting still in church for an hour!
With Cappy and Papaw Ruff

With all of the wonderful Grandparents
With Uncle Charles (my mom's brother) and Aunt Sandra. Aunt Sandra bought the christening gown when Bryce was born. He wore it, Jude wore it and now CeCe wore it. It was beautiful on all of them!
With Hunter (Uncle Sauce), Blakeley (Aunt Blake) and Jude (Baby Ju)
This is what Bryce and his best buddy Liam thought about all of the picture taking

Petit Fours
CeCe modeling her beautiful bib that she was supposed to have on with her gown but I forgot to put it on her in the made dash to get her dressed in the back of the Yukon.

Outfit change for the party! Aunt Sandra bought this dress for CeCe also. I decided that I wanted her to wear the gown Bryce wore for the church service, but she partied in this gorgeous gown.

The awesome Grandmothers--Catherine and Carole!

Awwww

Pooped!

New pictures

Last weekend our friends Holly, Trey and their son Camden came in town. We had the best time with them! I guess I was having so much fun I forgot to get my camera out until the last morning they were here. Here is Camden playing with Reagan. That kid is the best! He is always smiling.

CeCe fell asleep while I was in the shower this morning. I love that she holds onto dolls now, it is so cute!

Bryce is back into his instruments big time, especially the percussion instruments. This is a daily sight in our living room.

Bryce's class studies a letter a week and last week was D. They had their Dad's come with them to school for Donuts. Cute, huh? I don't know who was more excited--Anthony or Bryce! They both loved it.
We went to the Pensacola Seafood Festival Saturday and Sunday this weekend. It was so hot, but lots of fun. I meant to take my camera today, but forgot of course.
