Last Day of School

Today was Bryce's last day of 2 year old preschool! They had a program that all the kids participated in and it was so cute! Bryce's class sang two songs and he did perfectly!!! Of course Anthony and I chose the wrong side of the sanctuary to sit on and couldn't see him very well, but we could tell he was singing and doing all of the hand motions. The old Bryce would have started crying the minute he walked in until he got to come sit with us, but the new, older, more mature Bryce did GREAT! I was so proud of him. He looked so big sitting in the pew with his class and walking up there when he was supposed to and doing everything right! It was awesome to see how far he has come since August. After the program there was a little reception with cake and cookies. He had some of each, then wanted a Happy Meal! This afternoon Kiki and Papaw Duke are going to surprise Bryce by coming to visit! He is going to be so excited when he wakes up from his nap and they are here!

Look how much he has changed from Aug.-May! WOW!

Can you tell we were proud of him?

Lake weekend

We spent a long weekend at my family's lake house in AL. It was tons of fun! One of my cousins got married and another is having a baby so we had 2 parties to go to. It is always great to see the big family. There are so many new babies in our family it was fun oohing and aahing over them! Now for the pictures!

Bryce reading to Jude. He was great with him all weekend!
We got to visit my Grandmother and Grandpa at their nursing homes. I didn't take my camera in to visit with Grandmother, but here is one with Grandpa.
My Aunt and Uncle found these at my Grandpa's and gave them to Bryce. Hysterical isn't it??
Reagan LOVES swimming at the lake! Bryce had fun throwing the ball in for her to fetch.
Cousins with matching swim suits!
Swimming with Papaw Ruff. The water was freezing!

Mother's Day

We have had a GREAT weekend. My mom has been here since Tues. afternoon (we didn't tell Bryce she was coming so it was a fun surprise for him!). Bryce is finally feeling 100% better after his sickness earlier in the week. Friday Bryce, Cappy and I went to Navarre to a splash park. He loved it there! I didn't take my camera, but he was having the best time in the fountains. Yesterday we all went to the outlet mall in Foley. Today we went to early church then to the beach! We spent about 2.5hrs. out there again today. Bryce is enjoying the sand and water much more this year than he did last year.

Helping Daddy with the leaves in the backyard. He is the biggest helper!

My two best boys in the world. They make me so happy!
"Hey Baby Crunchy" is what Bryce was saying here. I'm 31 weeks today!
Kicked back relaxing on the beach. He's getting pretty good at this!!

Whew!!

After church this morning Anthony, Bryce and I hit the beach! It is awesome, we go to early church and are out in the sand by 10:00! We were having a great time. Bryce is really enjoying playing in the sand this year. We've been going to the bay side of the beach where there are no waves and he feels much better about getting in by himself. It is way too cold for Anthony and me right now!

We were having a great time watching Bryce play and enjoying being outside. A lady walked by with a metal detector (you know those random people who take those to beaches hoping some idiot has left behind something valuable!). Bryce was curious of course so she talked to us about it for a minute, then said she was off to search for some 'bling'--her words, not mine! I laughed and told her good luck. Then it hit me. MY RINGS!! I had taken them off to put on sunscreen and put them on my 'shelf' aka baby crunchy, aka my huge preggo belly and forgotten about them! I had gotten up and down from my chair, rubbed my feet in the sand and even moved my chair a little since we had sat down. Anthony went and searched the Yukon just in case, but I could see them sitting on my belly. I knew they were forever in the sand at Pensacola Beach! I immediately sat down with Bryce's sand toys, the sifter things came in handy today, but was having no luck at all. After a very long 10 mins. or so I found the engagement ring in front of Bryce's chair. Anthony ran after the lady with the metal detector and she and her husband came all the way back and found the other one! I know we wouldn't have found that one without the metal detector. It had gotten buried pretty deep. I will never laugh at those things again! Whew!!!

Clean Fun

Bryce talked Anthony into cleaning out his sand and water table that had been stored since one of the tropical storms last year. It was nasty! I got the idea from Bryce's school to fill it with soap and water. (All last week they really focused on germs, which I love! He is washing his hands like a PRO now!) He had a blast with all the suds today.

Here he is with his concentration face (tongue out, just like I used to do!)

Then he decided his tricycle/motorcycle needed to be washed

Cheesing for the camera!
